I am so very pleased to be here sharing my take on Prills, Crystal Effects and Artist Cement. I am a card maker. I love Prills. They are light weight, colorful and versatile to name just a few of their qualities. They partner up so well with Crystal Effects and Artist Cement, I think they may become the new big three.
The background of this card is made using an Acrylic Distress Technique. I used Perfect Pigment Cobalt Turquoise Hue and Titanium White, painted over an embossed label, sanded when dry, sponged with distress ink and wipe off with wet cloth. All of my flowers are made using 90 lb water color paper and Painted with Mica Color Water Colors. Prills of many colors were added to the centers of the flowers. I use Perfect Paper Adhesive Gloss to hold my Prills.

Here is a close up of the Prilled flower centers and Prilled scroll.
Notice the shimmery Crystal Effects on the leaves.
I added a little of the Mica Water Color Paints to my bow .
To the rose petals I added Mica Water color Paints and Crystal Effects.
On the left side of my card is a column which is a die cut covered with Taken for Granite Mini Prills.
Cover your die cut with Artist Cement, it does not have to be smooth then cover with Prills.

Dip a wet paint brush in the PPA then place a drip of PPA in the flower center.
Cover the PPA with Prills then shake the excess Prills off and return them to the container.

Just beautiful! I know Linda’s work and she has done Prills justice! They are a very fun medium and we carry them at the store where I teach. Great job, Linda!
This is so stunning! Joe Rotella gave me an assortment of Prills for my birthday. I’ve used them in small bottles with shells and on boxes but I have been leery of using them on a card. But not now! I can’t wait to try this! Thank you for your clear and concise directions. Great Job!
